The Catering Sales Manager is an integral member of our new catering department. This team member will sell and gain new catering clients and assist clients with catering orders.

Core duties:

• Sales generation including direct sales, cold calling, and business to business sales.
• Meet with clients to discuss their catering needs. This process often includes assisting clients with their menu selection. The sales associate must learn the different styles of catering offered by the company and be knowledgeable about the different logistics involved with each style.
• Create sales content including newsletter pieces, social media posts, and blog entries to get posted across our company's platforms.
• Create proposals and confirm contracts for clients requesting services
• Maintain communication with clients to ensure the most up-to-date details are listed on our event contracts.
• Communicate event changes to kitchen and service staff in a timely manner.

• Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred:

• Previous experience in sales and/or event planning
