If you missed coming into GreenLeaf Market this weekend, you missed seeing all the fresh vine ripened tomatoes, corn, and peppers that we bought from Herman’s Farm Orchard in St. Charles County. We went for a visit to their 7 acre farm on Friday and got to take photos and videos of their vine ripened tomatoes, peaches, apples (almost in season), peppers, and melons. Tom Goeke gave us quite a wonderful tour of his family farm and we learned so much (that we can’t wait to share after the videos are edited). True to our value and mission to support local Missouri farmers, we bought a variety of fresh vegetables and had them for sale over the weekend… Check out what’s left in our produce department, we almost sold out!
